The Supply Chain Coordinator ensures adequate levels of product inventory is being maintained by managing the buying and delivery process of our products. This role is responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs. The Supply Chain Coordinator places orders through direct partners and distributors and manages orders with a changing weekly forecast and order count. This role will also share a percentage of customer service responsibilities. Reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Essential Functions (not limited to):
Proactively manage Finlandia inventory levels to meet target service levels and cost targets
Generate and organize purchase orders.
Ensure on time and accurate delivery and be able to recover shortages as needed.
Maintains and updates Finlandia item pricing and market prices into internal data system.
Use forecasting to manage purchasing and identify potential shortages.
