Flaky Butter Pie Crust

Our Perfectly Salted Butter makes a delicious pie crust, full of flavor & with a wonderfully flaky texture!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Finlandia Perfectly Salted Butter
  • 1 ¼ cups flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup ice water
  • Instructions

    Bring butter to room temperature. Using a food processor or a pastry blender, combine butter, flour, salt and sugar. Add cold water 1 tbsp at a time and mix until dough is moist, but not wet, being careful not to overwork the dough. Turn out onto a floured surface or between two sheets of wax paper and roll out with a rolling pin.


    Notes

    Bring your butter to room temperature, and add ice cold water to make the pie crust easier to work with.
