Grilled Pizza Panini

Our Italian Panini is everything you love about pizza…in a sandwich. Salty prosciutto and fresh basil pesto are topped with creamy Monterey Jack Cheese, then grilled til hot and melted. It’s delizioso!

Ingredients
  • 4 Torta Rolls, split
  • 4 tbsps basil pesto
  • 4 tbsps pizza sauce
  • 8 slices Finlandia Monterey Jack or Colby Jack Cheese
  • 8 thin slices prosciutto (4 oz)
  • 3 tbsps Finlandia Butter, softened
Instructions

Spread cut sides of roll bottoms with pesto and top with marinara. Layer 1 slice of cheese, prosciutto and 2nd slice of cheese over pesto. Close sandwiches with roll tops, marinara side down; butter outside of sandwiches. Cook on Panini grill or skillet over medium heat 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Serves 4

Tip: You can substitute deli ham or turkey for the prosciutto, if you prefer. You can also substitute ciabatta buns or slices of Italian bread for the rolls.
